Nollywood actress Toyin Afolayan, popularly known as Lola Idije, has spoken on her movie roles. The Yoruba actress has become well known for playing wicked mother-in-law or troublemaker roles in movies.
In an interview on African A-List, Lola revealed that she has complained to directors and crew members about it.
She said she always questions why they stereotype her and don’t give her good roles where she gets to play a nice mother. Lola said her roles mostly require her to shout.
