A photographer whose bag containing a MacBook and four external hard drives was stolen at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos has recovered all the items. The photographer had raised an alarm after the bag was taken from the bride’s room on October 31 while he was covering a wedding.
The hard drives contained footage from five weddings yet to be delivered to the couples.
He subsequently shared CCTV footage of the suspect and offered a ₦500,000 reward for credible information that could lead to the individual’s identification and recovery of his belongings.
In an update, the photographer announced that all the items had been recovered, although the files had been formatted. He added that the lost footage could still be retrieved.
He thanked everyone who helped circulate his appeal and provided support towards recovering the items.
