Nigerian celebrity designer Veekee James has been left fuming as her daughter betrays her for her father, Femi Atere. In a video she shared online, her daughter had said ‘dada’ first instead of mama, which has left the designer heartbroken.
Veekee noted how she carried her daughter for 10 months, yet she stole her father’s face and now said Dada first.
Crying out, she said her chest hurts and admonished the public to fear her génder.
“You carried her for 10 months only for her to steal daddy’s face and say ‘Dada’ first.
This Génder? Fear them.
My chest still hurts”.
Earlier this year, Veekee and her husband, Femi Atere, had welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Eliana Adeife Atere.
On her social media pages, she shared a video of her newborn’s birth story. The video captured her 48 hours of labour and delivery. The designer said that God took away her fear, came through for her, and gave them their princess.
Not done, Veekee shared a video of how she was welcomed home after giving birth. The video captured the moment the new mum entered the house and was caught off guard by their grand preparation. According to her, her husband and her sister-in-law had organised the welcome home for her.
On Sunday, July 26th, the couple took their daughter, for dedication in church.
The stylist and her husband later held a dedication party, which had lots of celebrities in attendance. The likes of Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Priscilla Ojo, Jide Awobona, Cute Abiola, and more were in attendance.
