Davido and social media activist Verydarkman have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid their ongoing feud, sparking reactions from their supporters online. The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, and the activist, Martins Vincent Otse, have been at odds publicly, with Verydarkman repeatedly calling out Davido on social media over their disagreement.
Efforts by Verydarkman’s close friend, Kokopee, to intervene and broker peace between the two reportedly failed to resolve the dispute.
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, checks on the Instagram accounts of both men showed that they were no longer following each other on the platform.
A check of Davido’s Instagram page, which boasts more than 31 million followers, showed that the singer had removed Verydarkman from his following list. The activist, who has over three million followers, had also unfollowed the award-winning musician.
The development has drawn attention online, with social media users discussing the latest twist in the relationship between the singer and the activist.
While some supporters weighed in on the dispute, others reacted to the mutual unfollow as a sign that efforts to settle their differences had yet to yield the desired result.
