Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has corrected the popular misconception about him over his incident with Princess’ minor daughter. In a recent interview, he set the record straight that he isn’t a paedophile and that he was lied about. According to him, people ganged up against him to send him to prison.
Ijesha recounted that he once lived in veteran Adebayo Salami’s house with a lot of girls, and that nothing happened.
Elsewhere in the interview, he spoke about his relationship with Iyabo Ojo, calling her his product. Ijesha said he taught her how to act in movies.
“I’m not a paedophile; they lied and ganged up against me to send me to prison. I once lived inside Actor Adebayo Salami’s house with a lot of girl children, and such never happened. Iyabo Ojo is my product. I taught her how to act in movies.
During a courtesy visit to Sunday Igboho at his residence, Ijesha recounted a bad prophecy about him which came to pass. He revealed that before he went to prison, someone saw a revelation about him that he would be a great man, but a huge calamity would befall him.
Recall that in 2022, Baba Ijesha had bagged 5 years imprisonment for raping comedienne, Princess’s 14 years old daughter.
On Friday, November 15th, 2025, the famous actor was released from prison, after spending over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Speaking out, Baba Ijesha, in an interview with Biola, had addressed his rape allegations, maintaining that he isn’t a pedophile nor a rapist. He said Princess knows she has betrayed everyone she has ever been friends with, and expressed how hurt he was by how Iyabo Ojo turned on him. He noted that he had taken care of her kids when they were younger, yet she doubted him.
The actor shocked many on June 15th when he announced that he is now married and had welcomed a child with celebrity designer, Luminee. He said that God had written his story and had given him more than he prayed for – a wife and now a baby boy.
