Media personality Morayo’s husband, Mr Brown Afolabi, has criticised Pastor Jimmy Odukoya’s appearance and lifestyle, questioning whether his physical presentation aligns with the expectations of someone occupying a senior pastoral position.
Speaking during a discussion with Morayo, Mr Brown insisted that people were overlooking a bigger issue, saying, “You don’t see what a lot of people do not see here is a pattern. Anyway, I won’t talk, I won’t talk. There is a bigger issue that the world has not seen. There is a bigger issue.”
Reacting to Morayo’s defence of Jimmy’s decision to remarry, he questioned the wider conversation surrounding the pastor and maintained that there were underlying issues beyond his new marriage.
He subsequently criticised the pastor’s appearance, stating, “You see, tattoo, body hug, nose ring, earrings for men, biceps, triceps, everything I have mentioned, they are in the same WhatsApp group. And it is a WhatsApp group called The Flesh. This is all about the flesh.”
He also questioned the effort allegedly invested in maintaining his physique, asking, “Why is Jimmy Odukoya trying to look very hot? I’m telling you, he has worked heavily.”
Mr Brown further drew attention to the influence and financial resources associated with leading a prominent church, adding, “Now imagine his position, senior pastor. And you know under that type of church, money is flowing.”
