Congratulatory messages have started pouring in for popular Nigerian comedian and actor Mr Macaroni after he bagged a Master’s degree with distinction from a university in the United Kingdom. Mr Macaroni, whose real name is Adebowale Babatunde Adedayo, announced the latest achievement on his official Instagram page on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The excited entertainer disclosed that he graduated with a Master of Arts with Distinction in Performance (Acting) from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in the UK, an institution affiliated with the University of East Anglia.

Sharing a video from his graduation ceremony, the comedian expressed gratitude to God, his family, friends and supporters who stood by him throughout his academic journey.

In his message, Mr Macaroni revealed that completing the programme challenged him in several ways but also contributed to his personal and professional development.

He wrote, “Master of Arts with Distinction in Performance (Acting) from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. @mountviewldn.

Completing this degree challenged me in so many ways but I am glad to have embarked on this journey of personal and professional development.

“Forever grateful to God for his blessings which I can never deny.

“Thankful to my family and the best friends in the world for their incredible love and support.

“And to every one of you that has been riding with me on my journey as an artist, with all my heart, thank you.

“Cheers to greater things ahead.”

Following the announcement, fans, colleagues and social media users have continued to celebrate the comedian over his latest academic achievement.

Mr Macaroni’s latest accomplishment comes years after he made headlines over his determination to obtain a university degree despite attending multiple institutions before graduating.

The comedian previously disclosed that he attended four universities between 2009 and 2013 before eventually completing his first degree.

He initially gained admission to study Law at Lead City University, Ibadan, in 2009 but left the institution while in 200 Level following issues surrounding the accreditation of the programme.

He subsequently continued his Law studies at Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, in 2011. However, complications and other challenges reportedly prevented him from completing the programme.

In 2012, he enrolled at Afe Babalola University, where he eventually switched from Law to Theatre Arts but later left before completing his studies.

He finally proceeded to Redeemer’s University, where he studied Theatre Arts and Film Studies and successfully graduated.

Taking to his official Instagram page in March 2020, Mr Macaroni confirmed to all and sundry that he had completed his one-year mandatory NYSC.

Mr Macaroni, who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, is a popular Nigerian comedian, actor, content creator and social activist.

He gained widespread recognition through his satirical comedy skits, particularly his popular characters, Daddy Wa, Sugar Daddy and Professor Hard Life.
